Too bad AVG doesnt have any RootKit Removal in the free version. Then it would be a great antivirus. Avira is still better.

but i bet its better than avg free. i dunno how avg runs but i know avira has a better database.
I HAD Avast!, on my host, and a VM and I put 10 viruses on the VM, and Avast! picked upm one of them! So now I have anti-vir!
“Your Right There Murry!” as the old mad use to say! Yep, it is better that AVG, and any anti-virus I have ever had. I put a virus on my mums computer and her PC Tools anti-virus never got it off so I had to for her, and then I put it in my computer, and Anti-Vir got it off! (I nearly drowned in my own words then!)

yeah avira is great.
I now use Avira too. One advantage Avast had over Avira(free) was the Web Shield, able to block malicious sites.
