how to create slideshow movies for free

since the slideshow is a movie it can be uploaded to youtube ! and it can include an audio track. all you need is pictures on your disk, no webcam. the software ( not made by me ) is free and it’s called slide show movie maker. the word at the end of the movie that got chopped off is “life” have a happy life :)

if you Google-search for microsoft sapi
you’ll find the microsoft speech sdk, its a bunch of program code to help programmers write programs that speak – included in this are little sample programs, ready to use – one of them is ttsapp.exe you type some text and the computer speaks it – and you can save the audio as a vaf file which you can the use for your videos

Thanks, mcasual. I wish I had seen your video about 9 hours ago, when I embarked on this ridiculous journey to make a youtube compatible slideshow.

how do you put the slideshow to youtube?

mcasualJuly 15th, 2008 at 7:47 pm

the program outputs AVI movie files, you upload them directly like that without modification, using youtube’s” upload” feature

type cinemaforge in a google search and you will be able to download the free program Cinemaforge that can convert many types of videos from one format to another, including MP4 – you can also search cinemaforge on youtube and find some tutorials for it – if somehow this doesnt work, you can google for “online video converter”

perfection cheers very basic layout and easy to use. Instead using winamp though why not just rip songs ton Wmediaplayer and select wav as format seem easier to me….

when downloading this one. does this have a virus?

mcasualJanuary 14th, 2009 at 12:55 pm

according to me mcAfee virusscan 2009 it’s perfectly clean – i downloaded and installed it from snapfiles..com just now and mcAfee didnt detect anything problematic — note that microsoft has a free and very good program to create slideshows, called photostory, symply type “photostory” in google and the result at the top is the download page at microsoft..com

thanks! if you’re on a windows computer, you could go at microsoft..com and look for the free slideshow maker program named photostory, it’s easier than the one in my tutorial.
