Thanks a lot for making this video. I deleted some samples before I zipped my acid files and could not go back to modify most of them because of that. This helped me out great.

So if u can undelete them, those files are NEVER gone from ur PC
right?

ste1438May 31st, 2009 at 5:24 pm

Not really – They are still there, as free space. Once you overwrite that freespace, they are gone forever. If you want a file gone forever, use BCWipe software. It enables you to confidently erase files that can never be recovered.

have you tried Recuva from Piriform?

ste1438June 1st, 2009 at 12:36 am

No I havn’t, i would trust that to be a good application to recover files though. I use ccCleaner – I did not know about Recuva.

Thanks so much man!I accedently deleted a vst called nexus, and I can’t find it ANY where on my computer! I don’t even know how it just disappeared!!

mechwarreir2June 3rd, 2009 at 2:38 am

wait, I reinstalled FL studio 8.5 and stored the vsts that it didn’t come with in another folder, then when I installed it, I couldn’t find nexus. It was the only vst that disappeared, even though i was storing. What do I do?!?!

ste1438June 3rd, 2009 at 10:59 am

don’t get why your worried about recovering a plugin. A project, family pictures…that is worth recovering. All you need to do is goto the refx website and enter your serial number to download your software. It would probably take longer to try to recover it. Just download it again.

mechwarreir2June 3rd, 2009 at 10:53 pm

Thanks soo much man! I redownloaded it. The thing is, I used that plugin for my project and if the plugin is gone, the project isn’t completed. Its like a missing picture of a family of pictures, or a scratched out family member in a family picture (if you know what I mean).

AznSenzation09June 29th, 2009 at 4:59 am

If I deleted a folder from my REcycle Bin, is it possible to recover the contents within that folder or the folder itself?
