just get tubetila or something like that
I tried this and it worked. I notice though the file is only 64kbps. I was hoping to be able to find out how to adjust the settings in Audacity to get the maximum quality, so far I havent had to much success, as the end product doesnt have much volume.
up the volume of the file source.
I have since downloaded a freeware program “DVDvideosoft” which I use to rip music from YT videos. It gives a much better quality MP3 (256kbps) as opposed to Audacity (128kbps). In other words sounds better. It is also simpler, you just cut and paste the URL.

Thankyou for your comment, because it prompted me to try DVDvideosoft, and I agree it is great. I can select the highest quality of 256kbps for the end product as well.
No problem, I love telling people about that software. I’m glad it worked for you.
everytime i try this, audacity wants to play it while its recording, so i get alot of feedback, and the song just explodes.
DVDvideosoft is awesome to use, but u have the video with the song, so that part sucks. Anyways, There’s other stuff u can do, like line-in recording. No downloading, takes a few minutes, can do it with anything, put into Mp3 format, and the only thing u have to do is plug in a wire, and click a button! Sounds just like the real thing! But it’s totally free! Message me for questions or comments about this line in recording.
DVDvideosoft has a “free You Tube to MP3 converter” in its Free Studio Manager., which I use all the time now. You paste in the URL of the YT video and you can select 96kbps to 256kbps for the quality and then push the download button. It will put your MP3 file in the folder of your choice, and will automatically entitle the MP3 with the video name. It is very simple and has great results.
ok. I did this.
How do I get the MP3 to Itunes??
what does the lame download do?
im trying to figure out how to record a friends voice i have xp and the little scroll down thing on audacity is blank and grey it doesent give me a choice idk what to do lol
find the file, right click it, then “open with Itunes”
i use this to sample
By the way , I think it won’t be so complicating if you use ” internet download manager ” to download it .
i cant cange the mixer to mic or anthing thing its blank
is it IegaI?
you are looping sound back to the pc hope you dont fri the mothere bord bios lmao
click the box next to the sound “Thingys” (is that what you call em now?) where it says thinks like “stereo, 44100hz” and such
Then go back to the “scroll down thing”
it exports your project to mp3
it is actually a music editing and recording software i use to record my songs or any cover, here they are just recording the song and saving it as mp3, but it is good if u are a musician and dont want to pay for a recording software
gosh this kinnda stuff is gay it just steals music from other computers and gives there vireses to yours
dont think so its stealing but you won’t get caught this way…
then you wont have to pay $80k per song
